Inaugurated in 2016, it spans 4,500 m² over two levels, with separate terminals for local ferries, international routes, and cruise ships.
Molo Manfredi is classified as a first-class port within Italy’s second category of maritime infrastructure.
It is one of the most efficient ports in Southern Italy for cargo and passenger traffic, and the only Italian port selected to present its security plan at European level.
It was also awarded Best European Port for space-efficient cargo handling in 2010.
The “Vie del Mare” are intermodal maritime routes (RO‑RO and container) connecting Salerno with European and global ports.
They improve logistics by reducing road transport and lowering environmental impact.
Destinations include the UK, North Africa, Northern Europe, and intercontinental links.
They operate through direct or feeder services for both containerized goods and vehicles, in coordination with national and European port networks.
